Mogensen J39 Dining Chair

A Study In Scandinavian Elegance

Iconic Design Steeped In History; Suitable for Public and Home Use

The J39 Dining Chair, also known as the People’s Chair, is one of Borge Mogensen’s most iconic designs. Crafted using hand-woven paper cord sheets, this masterpiece was inspired by the culture of the Mediterranean Region. This exquisite design was released to the public in 1947. It has remained in production since then. The design’s sturdy makeup allows it to be suitable for use in both in public and at home.

The J39 Dining Chair pairs well with both old and new designs, the latter of which includes the Taro Dining Table and the Mesa Dining Table.

Fredericia’s goal is to engineer exquisite designs that are visually appealing, modern and functional. Each piece of designer furniture from this brand reflects the company’s unwavering commitment to perfection.
