Iconic Design

In 2018, Fredericia celebrated the Trinidad Chair’s 25th Anniversary. It is clearly a testament to the chair’s timeless design. The origins of this chair began in the Caribbean Island of the Trinidad, where Nanna Ditzel found herself enraptured by the Gingerbread Facades that are found prominently on the houses. These constructions appear to slip in between light and shadow and Nanna wanted to replicate that effect in a chair. The result? The Trinidad. The elaborate fretwork seen in this piece of designer furniture is not just pleasing to the eye – it also allows for ample ventilation. These, combined with ample back support, allowed the Trinidad to become a phenomenal success.

The Trinidad Dining Chair is a versatile piece of furniture that pairs well with a large variety of dining tables. These dining tables include (but are most certainly not limited to) the Mesa Dining Table and the Extendable Ana Dining Table.

Delivery is complimentary for orders $1000 and above. For orders below $1000, the delivery fee is $80 per order.

The confidence Fredericia has in its products enable them to offer a 5 year warranty. This applies to manufacturing defects found in the material and construction of the dining chairs. This warranty does not cover faults that are a result of wear and tear and damages to covers and surface finishes.
