The Circle Chair (PP130), designed by Hans J. Wegner, is proof that the simplest ideas can take a lifetime to perfect. Built around a flawless circle, it feels bold yet airy, a true sculptural piece to add to your collection.
Crafted from laminated solid wood, ultra thin slices are bent and layered to shape the iconic frame using a custom engineered machine developed especially for this design. Even Wegner once believed it impossible, which makes the result all the more extraordinary.
The woven flag line seat cradles you with a gentle give, while upholstered cushions (available in a wide selection of premium fabrics layer) in softness, texture and a cosy, elevated feel. This chair is surprisingly light making it easy to move around as your needs evolve.

Materials
The frame of the PP130 is made from laminated wood, available in Oak or Ash. The wooden finishes available are:
Oak: Soap Treated, Clear Bio Oil, White Bio Oil, or Tannic Tint Black.
Ash: Soap Treated or White Bio Oil.
The seat and back are woven with Flag Halyard, available in Natural or Black. The flag line material is a specially developed cord made from jute with a high tensile nylon core for optimal strength, covered by a protective sleeve of woven jute. The chair includes seat and neck cushions, which come upholstered in your choice of fabric or leather. The supporting clips and wheels are available in stainless steel, brass, or black.
