The Flag Halyard Chair (PP2250, designed by Hans J. Wegner, is where icons meet engineering. The polished, solid stainless steel frame gives the chair its unmistakable silhouette and a slight springy tension when you lean back. Wrapped by 220 metres of custom developed flag line, handwoven to form the seat and back, it cradles your body in a breathable, ergonomic embrace.
A layer of long haired sheepskin adds a luxurious softness that balances the clean lines of steel. Meanwhile the flag line beneath offers a subtle, hammock like give, creating a sensation that’s as cosy as it is visually striking.
Each chair is impeccably crafted by artisans who shape, weld and weave with obsessive precision. The cushions in a curated range of high end fabrics let you tailor the look and feel, from relaxed elegance to rich texture.

Materials
The PP225 features a frame made of solid stainless steel. The seat and back are created by weaving 220 metres of specially developed Flag Halyard line, available in Natural or Black. The flag line is made from jute with a high tensile nylon core, covered by a protective sleeve of woven jute. The chair includes a neck cushion upholstered in leather or fabric, which is held by straps of either jute or Bridle Leather (available in Vegetal, Black, Dark Brown, or Walnut). The chair is complete with a unique long-haired sheepskin for added comfort.
