The Trinidad Chair was imagined by visionary designer Nanna Ditzel, has been produced for over 25 years, and yet its still so fashionable.
What makes it unforgettable is the carved fretwork pattern across the seat and curved back. It creates a soft dance of shadow and light, inspired by the gingerbread style facades Ditzel loved during her travels. Those cut-outs mean natural ventilation, so the chair breathes, stays cooler, and just feels better to sit in, especially in warmer climates. The backrest gives ample support due to its clever curvature.
It comes in a varied selection wood finishes, making it easy to match your table without losing its iconic rhythm and proportion. Surfaces feel smooth, refined, and confidently crafted. You can also have the chair with an upholstered seat for extra comfort, which comes with an array of different fabric and leather options.
