Space Copenhagen

Poetic modernism, real comfort

Founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, Space Copenhagen works across furniture, lighting, interiors, and art direction. Their approach, described as poetic modernism, softens modern design through tactility and atmosphere.

They gained international recognition through hospitality projects such as the redesign of Restaurant Noma, creating spaces that feel refined yet alive under daily use.

At Danish Design Co, Space Copenhagen is represented through Fredericia and GUBI.

Design Philosophy

Modernism made humane
