The Museum Side Table by String, designed by Stockholm-based TAF Studio (Gabriella Lenke & Mattias Ståhlbom), reimagines the simple side table as a refined, multifunctional piece that elevates everyday living. Crafted from fine textured, powder-coated aluminium and steel, this slender yet robust table is engineered with an adjustable height mechanism that moves easily from 32 cm to 73 cm, giving it the flexibility to serve a wide range of uses in the home. Its modern profile and industrial-inspired leg make it equally suited to contemporary and classic interiors.
What sets this table apart is its adaptability. Use it as a bedside table to hold a lamp and book, slide it beside your sofa as a coffee or drink table, or position it in a hallway and use it as a pedestal for plants, art, or decorative objects. Thanks to its thoughtful proportions and movable height, the Museum Side Table can also function as a temporary workstation next to a lounge chair, bringing convenience to both quiet moments and active use.
