The Spanish Chair by Børge Mogensen is the definition of heirloom style. Built by Fredericia, it’s crafted from solid oak or walnut, paired with thick, vegetable tanned saddle leather that will only look better with age.
Those broad armrests aren’t just a look they have a clear purpose. They’re flat, intentional perches for ash trays, coffee cups, or a perfect tumbler glass, so you get that delicious open space without needing extra styling. The posture is strong and low, modern but calm. The straps on the chair can be tightened to adjust the chair as the leather expands through use.
