London-based multidisciplinary designer Kyla McCallum is the founder of the Foldability design studio. McCallum acknowledged her Scottish heritage and graduated from the prestigious Glasgow School of Art. Her main body of work include interior design, set design and large-scale retail window displays. Her unique technique of folding labile materials like paper and fabric, and even rigid materials such as metal and laminate was only developed in recent years. On first look, her designs appear to be one-off but in actuality, they are precisely planned and crafted.
