Crespi’s goal was to create a flexible rattan seating that feels equally at home in the city or the country, at the seaside, or high on a mountain slope; She aspires to break down distinctions between interior and exterior where it was placed.

The Bohemian 72 Outdoor Ottoman is the last of the lounge pieces from the Bohemian 72 Collection by Gabriella Crespi. Crespi designed all pieces in the spring of 1972, from the terrace of her home in Milan. Drawn to the strengths and versatility of rattan, Crespi designed the collection when rattan was very much valued in the high society, in the height of interior sophistication.
