The Spine Lounge Suite Sofa pays homage to the traditional hand upholstering art that Fredericia built its brand upon, serving a contemporary feel in a crisp and minimalistic style. The Spine series was originally designed for the interior design of a Michelin starred restaurant in 2011 and has since been favoured by many high-end restaurants, bars and luxury retail shops for its quality, craftsmanship and clean aesthetic.
Spine bears in mind its Nordic heritage while blending in some personality with an individual but refreshing twist. The clean minimal lines are a familiar look while the contemporary details provide a unique striking look never seen before. The top and bottom of the Spine Lounge Suite Sofa contain contrasting elements but still combine to look balanced and refined. The wooden frames made up of the backing and legs are given solid emphasis and the hand-sewn upholstery utilizes techniques developed by Fredericia’s very own 1960 leather series. The Spine is a mix of organic, solid and modern.
The Spine Lounge Suite Sofa belongs to the Spine Lounge Collection that features the Spine Lounge Chair in a Wood base and a Metal base, and two others – the Spine Dining Chair and Spine Bar Stool. The Spine Lounge Chair fits perfect with the Suite Sofa for a modern and clean minimalist look for your home or commercial lounging areas. Additionally, the Pon Side Table is a fantastic perfect centrepiece that will complement the wood details of the Spine collection.
