British multidisciplinary designer Jasper Morrison goes against the design norm that uses technology to add superfluous details. Morrison differs by preferring to use machinery to refine his designs so that his creations do not create unnecessary distractions. His furniture pieces are versatile and harmoniously fit into many environments, helping to build good atmosphere. Despite having a unique and distinct style in his work, Morrison’s designs are extremely different from one another. Along with Japanese designer Naoto Fukosawa, they created the concept of the ‘supernormal’, favouring a minimalist style.
He has designed numerous furniture pieces for Fredericia including the Pon Table series and the Taro Dining table.
