Thau & Kallio comprises of Danish designer Jakob Thau and Finnish born Sami Kallio. This duo was driven by their mutual love for exceptional craftsmanship and wild inquisitiveness to explore new materials and push the boundaries of design. Thau and Kallio were experts in fusing artisanal design and creative industrial production techniques. Their artistic vision and creative designs have been well respected in the world of furniture design. The pair collaborated with Fredericia to create the Yksi Dining Chair, a furniture piece sporting a unique Y-shaped leg frame.
